The ownership of the the farm has been traced back to 1953. We have more research to do but we did find some interesting items while remodeling!
A page from the 1899 St. Lawrence Plaindealer and Courier Observer were found in the smaller downstairs bathroom while being remodeled this spring. These are intended to be pieced together as best as possible and be diplayed at The Tree House. A piece of "old" molding was found in the laundry room behind the door. See if you can find it! A piece of original flooring was marked "Williamette Valley 37 Lumber Co.37" which appears to be the flooring used in the kitchen. Tell-tale signs of a dumb waiter system exist in the kitchen.
